Witchy Work Wishes was created in 2022 from a very real place in my life! Standing with one foot in the corporate world and the other in my personal spiritual practice… and wondering why it felt like those two parts of me had to stay separate. For years I lived in structure, deadlines and numbers through my bookkeeping business… while also building a deeply personal connection to intuition, energy, and the natural rhythms of life. And at some point, I realized something really important… they were never meant to be separate.

Witchy Work Wishes was born from that realization. It’s a space where we explore what it looks like to bring our full selves into the work we do (without having to hide the parts that feel magical, intuitive, or deeply personal). Because witchcraft (at its core) is about awareness. It’s about paying attention. It’s about learning how to trust ourselves. And those are skills that belong everywhere… including our work.

This isn’t about turning your office into a ritual circle or announcing your spiritual practice to everyone around you! Although there are certainly days I would love to do that! It’s about subtle integration and setting intentions before a meeting. It’s about learning when to push forward… and when to pause and using your intuition alongside your data. My goal is to help all of us create a work life that actually feels aligned.

If you’ve ever felt like you had to leave part of yourself at the door when you go to work… you’re not alone. I’ve been there too!

This space is for the witches who feel deeply. The ones who notice energy shifts in a room. The ones who want real success (big success) but not at the cost of themselves. You don’t have to choose between being grounded and being intuitive. You don’t have to choose between structure and magic. We get to build something that holds both!

I founded my bookkeeping and payroll practice in 2008, and I’ve been working in the bookkeeping world in some form since 1988. That experience has given me a deep understanding of how the corporate world moves. Its rhythms, its pressures, and its expectations. Witchy Work Wishes is where I bring those two worlds together. It’s where practical, real-world business experience meets intuition, energy, and the deeper awareness that so many of us already carry.

Many witches feel they need to leave a part of themselves at the door when they go to work. Witchy Work Wishes exists to change that. It’s about helping you reconnect with your intuition, your energy, and your natural rhythms so you can build a work life that actually feels aligned instead of divided.

My goal is that Witchy Work Wishes helps you stop separating your magic from your work and start building a life where both can exist together!

Hi… I’m Charlene!

I’m the voice behind the Witchy Work Wishes podcast, a business owner, and someone who has spent years learning how to blend structure with intuition in a way that actually works.

I’m based in the United States, on the West Coast in California. For most of my life, I was living a simple spiritual path with a lot of connections to animals and the wilderness ... doing things I would now recognize as witchcraft. But I never gave it that name. That changed after a traumatic event shifted everything for me. As I moved through the healing process, I began researching witchcraft more intentionally. And again and again, I found myself thinking, I already do this and I’ve been doing this for years.

There was a deep sense of recognition in that moment ... like coming home to something that had always been a part of me. What started as me simply sharing the things I was learning with my own witchcraft practice, has slowly grown into a community and family of listeners walking this path alongside me. And that’s really what this has always been .... a family!

I don’t have a final destination in mind and I’m not working from a strict set of rules. I try to move with the flow, letting things unfold naturally and allowing space for topics and ideas to shift along the way. This is a shared journey… one of learning, experimenting, and growing together!

The Enchanted Entrepreneur $7.50/mo

This is our deepest level of work together. Along with everything in the previous tiers, you’ll receive a monthly Grimoire-style guide that brings everything together (symbolic associations, a custom sigil, a witchy potion or tea and a focused exercise to help you integrate the energy into both your life and your work). This tier is especially powerful for those of us blending our spiritual practice with our business or career ... creating alignment, intention, and a sense of purpose in what we’re building.

Hearth & Hen is the visual side of Witchy Work Wishes… a slower, more grounded space where we bring this energy into real life. This is a very personal space for me to share with you and it is where the magic meets the everyday. Filmed in my backyard, home and kitchen ... Hearth & Hen follows the rhythm of the moon through simple, meaningful moments (cooking over the fire when I can, working with seasonal ingredients, spending time with the hens, and creating space to just be present). It’s not about perfection ... you'll see that right away. It’s not overly polished either. It’s real, a little messy at times, and deeply rooted in creating something that feels comforting, grounding and connected. If the podcast is where we talk about the energy… Hearth & Hen is where we live it.
